As a mom, I always want the BEST products for my children. Those that are high-quality, eco-friendly, and also good for their health. In fact, the main reason I am a stay-at-home mom is because my son’s body didn’t develop immunities as quickly as other children his age (preemies usually don’t…), so when we made the decision to have his adnoids removed and put tubes in both his ears, we also wanted to be sure that whatever products we introduced, whether it be food or toys, were going to agree with his system. Another health-conscience mom, Tamre Sutphen, created a product for herself and other moms like us. As the owner of Shi Shu Style, Tamre developed a beautifully designed blanket made from a blend of natural fibers.
Because they are crafted using 60% cotton and 40% bamboo with 100% bamboo sateen trim, these blankets are naturally antibacterial, allowing airflow and helping to prevent rashes. To be honest, even if these blankets weren’t eco-friendly, just the softness and heirloom-style quality would be enough for me to be sold! So basically, Shi Shu Baby Blankets are the perfect addition to any baby’s room. I had the opportunity to review the Shi Shu Baby Blanket in Celedon. In a color that is perfect for a boy or a girl, my children fight over who’s turn it is to use the “feely-good” (as my 2-year old says) blanket. What’s better though, is that when they aren’t using it, I sneak a chance to cover up with it…LOL!

I love the Shi Shu Baby Lavender. They’re such beautiful blankets!
I chose the Shi Shu Baby Celedon blanket as my favorite. All of them are absolutely beautiful and lood SOOOO soft, that choosing one was really hard. I have always been partial to different shades of green. This beautiful Celedon shade was the color that I used in an outfit that I made for my son for Easter. He was so precious in the two-piece button waist English short set. Every stitch of the suit was made with love as it looks as if every stitch of these blankets are. They look as if we, adults, would enjoy snuggling up with them, as much their our little ones. I would LOVE to have the chance to see!
