It’s getting close to that time of year again when the kids start thinking about Halloween parties, trick-or-treat candy and most importantly, the costumes. I don’t know about you, but every year I start looking around for ideas and sales fairly early so I get first dibs on the costumes we want before they sell out. Halloween is a big deal in our house since my mother-in-law works for Rubies, one of the largest costume and Halloween novelty stores in the world. I get to take a sneak peak at all the new costumes and start searching for the best prices before they even send out the catalogs. Another benefit to being related to a Rubies employee is that I get the low-down on which stores and web sites carry their costumes at the lowest prices.
Princess Time Toys is one of those online boutiques and if you are familiar with Twitter, perhaps you’re even one of their 8500 followers. The owner of Princess Time Toys happens to be one of my best online buddies so it’s a double score for me! Whenever I need new garb for my little princess, it’s my first destination. Whether I’m looking for Melissa & Doug Art Supplies, Disney Princess Toys, top quality puzzles and games, room decor and so much more. I remember the first time I placed an order with Princess Time Toys the packaging was so nice that I didn’t want to open it. Within layer after layer of pink tissue paper I found our Melissa & Doug crayons, princess coloring books, pretend play food and a few pinktastic freebies that put the icing on the cake.
Aside from toys, children’s furniture and art supplies, Princess Time Toys carries a huge selection of deluxe Halloween costumes for children ages 1-10 and a few adult costumes so us moms can join in the fun. I’d have to go with the Tinkerbell costume. My daughter loves her far and away more than any of the princesses and has already worn out not one but two Tinkerbell costumes. This looks a bit better made than the two she has gone through, so it would be well loved around here! Plus, she’s allowed to wear anything she likes to her ballet recital and this would be a good option for that in November as well as for Halloween and everyday play!
