Congratulations to comment #101 – Michelle McGraw

At this very moment I am munching on some zesty barbecue flavored popchips. I wanted to be sure that I captured the full experience while writing this post. I also cannot stop eating them, so why would now be any different? If you aren’t familiar with popchips yet, I can guarantee one of two things. 1. You haven’t check out my post from last week raving about these healthy, yet tasty snacks and 2. You didn’t attend the Type-A Mom Conference last week where we handed out over 250 bags in a variety of flavors.
During the conference I received nothing but compliments about popchips, moms especially loved that an entire single-serve bag contained only 100 calories and 3 grams of fat. We even dropped off a case of popchips and WAT-AAH! to Kid Con (the daycare for the attendees children) and had the kids smiling ear-to-ear from snack overload.

From the popchips! site:
Healthier, delicious, all-natural. Actually, we are all that and a bag of chips. How do we do it? Well, first, let’s talk about how we don’t do it. We never fry our chips. That just puts a lot of stuff in there that we could all do without. We never bake our chips either. That just takes a lot of flavor out, which, as snackers, we simply can’t do without.
So we came up with a chip like no snack aisle has seen (or taste bud has tasted). That’s because we found a way to pop all the flavor in while keeping fake stuff and more than half the fat of fried chips out. Thanks to the magic of popped.
popchips are made with all-natural ingredients, no preservatives and lots of flavor. There are seven varieties available including, barbecue, salt & pepper, cheddar, sour cream & onion, sea salt & vinegar, parmesan garlic and original. Both the single-serve and 3 oz. bags can be purchased online at www.popchips.com. You can also find popchips at most quality supermarkets such as Whole Foods, D’Agastino, The Food Emporium, Fairway, Duane Reade, Cafe Metro and more. Find a popchips retailer

They say “Since we do all the popping ourselves, we can make sure of that. Our quality control mantra? If it doesn’t taste good, it’s not a snack, of course.”

I absolutely love popchips. Since we have moved I have not been able to find them by us. I learned that I can buy them nearby (I used their product locator) and if by some chance they weren’t in your area you can buy them online. My favorite so far is definitely the barbeque, but I am definitely interested in trying the new Potato Cheddar they have!
I like The Snackers’ Credo – “we, the snackers of the world, raising our right hands out of the chip bag, do solemnly swear to engage in more recreational eating; to throw more popcorn in the air to catch in our mouths; to double-dip into the onion dip as necessary; and to spoil our dinners on a regular basis.”
You can purchase them at Target!!

They have a snacker’s credo – one I love is that you are allowed to eat the whole bag
I learned that there is no MSG and that they eliminate More than half the fat trans fats, and cholesterol by popping rather than making them by conventional methods.
entry for chip contest
other than the parmesan garlic potato chips (which have a few minor ingredients in the seasoning which we’re still working on), popchips are non-gmo.
I like that you can get them at Target not just a health food store.
you can purchase these healthy snacks at Target.
They think spoiling your dinner is just fine. And if there’s one thing they know as snack fanatics, if it doesn’t taste good, it’s not a snack.
