Pink & Posh Goes Pop!

A little while back, I professed my love for all types of snacks, healthy snacks since I am trying to poshify my figure. Soon after I listed my favorite healthy snack alternatives I was introduced to Pop Chips, a 100-calorie “popped” potato snack. I really should go back and add Pop Chips to my list since they are definitely my new faves, but I figured that since they were so good, they deserved their very own post. That and the fact that we’ll be handing them out at the Type-A Mom Conference next week and I wanted to be sure that everyone was aware of the delightful treat they are in for.

I can honestly say that I have never had a snack, a healthy one at that, that tastes so good with so little guilt. These generously sized bags contain only 100 calories, 4 grams of fat and come in seven different varieties, each one tastier than the next. So far my favorite flavors are Barbeque and Sour Cream & Onion, my daughters favorites are Sea Salt & Vinegar and Cheddar, my husband…well he likes them all. So I guess it’s safe to say that Pop Chips are a very family-friendly snack option, and one you won’t ever question yourself about feeding to them. They are all natural, contain no trans fat, no cholesterol and no preservatives, and that’s how we roll these days.
The texture is something new to us too, it was definitely a pleasant surprise. Before opening the bag I assumed they’d look and taste like ordinary potato chips, after opening them I assumed they would taste like soy chips due to shape (round) and feel (light and “puffy”), once I tasted them I learned that I should never assume anything. Unlike bland soy chips or boring baked potato chips, Pop Chips pack a whole lotta flavor and just the right amount of crunch. How do they do it?
