American Express, in partnership with NBC Universal invites you (The Public) to read and vote for the small business story that inspires you the most! The Shine a Light Program accepted submissions from small businesses across the nation and selected three finalists based on innovation, community spirit and customer service. The finalists were selected by Ellen DeGeneres, Diane von Furstenberg and JJ Ramberg…cool, huh? The winning small business based on user voting will receive $100,000 grant and marketing support from American Express. Voting started on September 24, 2009 and ends October 16, 2009.
I am proud to announce the Pink & Posh support for a company that I personally have had great success with in the past and currently purchase their frozen food items on a monthly basis for my one-year old daughter. They are a fabulous company, with an excellent product and one very satisfied baby(my daughter)! Hence the name, HAPPYBABY!

HAPPYBABY is a women-owned, socially responsible organic baby food company that has pioneered a new movement in baby food with a line of sustainable organic home-style meals as an alternative to the processed jarred foods that had not been improved since the 1930s. By including only the freshest, natural and functional ingredients (like probiotics, prebiotics and newly announced superfood Salba) your baby starts developing a palate of healthy eating that will last his entire life. What’s more, HAPPYBABY has partnered with Project Peanut Butter, and every HAPPYBABY product sold will feed a child in Africa for an entire day. So, not only are you feeding your baby an organic, better-for-him food you’re also helping feed an African child in need

So what are you waiting for? Head on over to the Shine a Light Program website and vote for your favorite finalist today!
