Congratulations to Rebecca C – comment #29

As many of you know, last week during the Type-A Mom Conference, we handed out some really posh swag bags that included products from some of our favorite brands including popchips, Princess Time Toys and WAT-AAH!. If you weren’t able to get your hands on a bag because either you missed us or you missed the conference, we have a very special treat for you! But before I give any details, let me explain a little bit about what exactly WAT-AAH! is…
WAT-AAH!, launched in June 2008, is the first sugar-free, functional water brand made specifically for kids by kids and their mothers.
No other water product currently on the market for kids and teens can claim to be 100 percent free of artificial flavors, artificial colors, additives and sugar. The first four products introduced were:
- WAT-AAH! Bones, the first premium water with calcium to help bone growth
- WAT-AAH! Brain, the first premium water with added electrolytes to encourage faster absorption, hydration and cooling down
- WAT-AAH! Energy, the first premium water with electrolytes and oxygen for increased metabolic function and energy
- WAT-AAH! Body, the foundation for the brand with simple and super clean water, absolutely free of sugar
During this past summer, WAT-AAH put kids (and moms) to the test with their ‘WAT-AAH Challenge’. They simply asked moms to place a few bottles of WAT-AAH in their fridge alongside the bottles of soda and juices and then leave it up to the kids to choose. Out of 1,082 children that joined in on the challenge, 1,072 of them chose WAT-AAH! That’s 99%!
With childhood obesity on the rise and with sugary beverages being one of the culprits, Rose Cameron, the founder of WAT-AAH! was proud to make this announcement after those challenge results were tallied — “We are thrilled by the results of the Challenge. Water is no longer boring. We are influencing kids to drink more water and in turn doing our part in curbing childhood obesity.”
WAT-AAH! is available online at Amazon.com and at retail locations nationwide. Visit www.drinkwataah.com for more details.

and of course, my own shameless plug…Here’s my baby enjoying her WAT-AAH!

I’m a fan of WAT-AAH of facebook.
WAT-AAH’s originators asked their kids what they needed to do to make water more fun, and used their answers to come up with WAT-AAH.
I learned/ and think it’s so neat that children helped to design the bottles. This looks like a really fun product that my children would love. Thanks for the chance to win!

I learned that poor hydration in kids causes their internal body temperature to rise. It can cause them to become cranky, Lose the ability to concentrate and fatigued.
These all describe my granddaughter to a T. She doesn’t like to drink water because it always tastes the same. We have to watch her really close to make sure she doesn’t get dehydrated. This would be a big help in getting her to drink liquids that are healthy for her.
I learned that htey are located in New York which explains why alot of their retailers are on the east coast
I learned; poor hydration in kids causes their internal body temperature to rise. It can cause them to become cranky, Lose the ability to concentrate and fatigued. I think this is a great company and a great idea
