For little citizens…
The holiday season is a time for giving, but in some countries, giving is not an option.
Soon after designers Serge Castanga and Ana Testa Castanga first met in 1998, the idea behind Farofa Nation was born. While Serge was visiting Ana’s hometown of Rio de Janeiro, he witnessed true poverty for the very first time as he saw young children living in the streets and living in conditions that no child should have to endure. Being personally touched by what they saw, both designers ran with their desire to help others and their passion for artistic design and created Farofa Nation, which officially launched in 2007. They’ve created much more than a fashion collection, they’ve created a collection with a mission to help children, get them off the streets and on the path of a brighter, more promising future.
10% of the proceeds from every shirt sold at FarofaNation.com goes directly to these children in collaboration with TASK BRASIL, an organization created to make a direct impact in the lives of these children by providing housing, educational programs and most importantly, they provide these abused, abandoned and less fortunate children with love.
This season, make a difference in more than one child’s life. Check out the Farofa Nation collection for both adults and children, each featuring an original graphic design on 100% fine jersey cotton t-shirts. Prices range from $24-$26, free shipping on U.S. orders.
