It’s Officially Here…

The release of New Moon that is, the second installment of the Twilight Saga. I will admit it, I’m a huge fan and will be seeing this movie tomorrow at the 10:30AM showing, since that’s the only time I could arrange for my mother to come and watch the baby. I will be dragging my poor husband along, although something tells me he enjoys it more than he lets on. I tried to arrange to see the midnight showing last night, but it just did not work out, (something I’m still coping with).I have my whole prized hardcover Twilight Saga resting on my bookshelf for those times when I need an Edward or Jacob fix. What can I say?…Although these books are geared towards the younger teenage crowd, I have been loving every minute of the Twilight hysteria since the very beginning.

I haven’t read any of the books or seen any of the movies. My teenage son read the first book and said it was great though. Maybe one of these days I will at least watch the movie to get an idea of it all for pop culture trivia knowledge if nothing else.
I read all four books in 4 days. I just couldn’t put them down. I made my hubby take me on Friday to see the movie, and it was SOOOO good. I love that even though movies are always “based” on the books, the Twilight movies are VERY close to what was written. Now if they could just hurry and get to biting some pillows…
