Best Friends Club

Just a few minutes ago while I was tweeting (too many of my blog post start out this way), I heard a dragging noise is the next room over. I asked Angelina “What are you moving?” and she replied “The dining room”. Ok, so for some reason I didn’t even go check, I figured if she was well enough to answer me, everything should be fine. And it was. It really was.
My motherly instincts kicked in and I went to go check on her. She was in fact rearranging my furniture.

My first thought was to get a bit annoyed and say “why in the world are the dining room chairs in the living room?”, but then I realized that if it hadn’t been for Twitter, I would have been there for her to ask permission and I wasn’t, so twitter-guilt sets in and you know the rest. Instead, I asked very nicely (but I was still annoyed), “what’s up with the chairs and why are you climbing on them?” She replied…
“It’s a Best Friends Club. One chair for me, one for you and the pink one for Daddy. So we can be together.”
I know, I know, it’s not the most dramatic ending, but remember, I’m a first-time mom, so a lot of these sweet moments really catch me off guard and make my eyes well up. And now I’ll get off the Internet and go spend time with my best friend.
Happy Holidays Everyone!

OMH that is the CUTEST story EVER!!!!
OK apparently I can not spell because i ment to say OMG not OMH hehehehe
It’s ok, isn’t that like a Southern saying, Oh My Heck? So it’s all good =)
That is super cute and sweet. I love that her best friends club is with Mommy and Daddy. I also love that Daddy gets the pink chair.
Reaaly really cute story. And it is those cute stories that make yo love being a mom even more!
Awww that was so cute of her!! She’s adorable!
PS. Love that you have pink in your house!!
Ha, I’ve even gotten my husband to embrace the pink! He’s suck a sucker, lol.
I love it!
If only kids would always want to be close together with their parents in a best friends club. Alas, they grow up and grow away from us, so it’s best to enjoy the times they want to be close.
Sooo sweet! My girls would want to be a part of this kind of Best Friends Club, too!
(Merry Christmas!)
