RECALL: Graco Strollers and Travel Systems

Unfortunately, there has been another massive stroller recall, this time by the widely popular brand Graco. 
Apparently, there have been seven reports of children placing their fingers in the stroller’s canopy hinge mechanism while the in the process of being opened or closed, resulting in five fingertip amputations and two fingertip lacerations.
Apparently, there have been seven reports of children placing their fingers in the stroller’s canopy hinge mechanism while the in the process of being opened or closed, resulting in five fingertip amputations and two fingertip lacerations.The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission(CPSC), has announced today, a voluntary recall containing about 1.5 Million Graco Passage™, Alano™ and Spree™ Strollers and Travel Systems.

The model number and manufacture date are located on the lower inside portion of the rear frame, just above the rear wheels. The recalled strollers were manufactured between October 2004 and February 2008 and were sold at many retailers across the U.S including Target, Wal-Mart, Sears, Babies “R” Us, Kmart and many more.
